About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our People's team in Barcelona. As a Health and Safety Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our employees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of health and safety specialists to design and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on health and safety protocols.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Manage health surveillance programs to monitor employee health and well-being.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Masters in Labor Risk Prevention (3 specialities) in accordance with Spanish regulations.
- Experience managing a team of health and safety specialists.
- Experience working with CAE platforms.
- Experience investigating accidents and creating emergency plans.
- Advanced proficiency in Office/Google Sheets.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Able to work in a fast-paced, growing start-up environment.
- Thrives in ambiguity.
- Organized, proactive, and creative.
- Hands-on profile/mindset.
- Able to travel within the country.
