About the Role

Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Business Prime team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing important features that involve multiple teams and span different tech stacks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable software systems using Java, Kotlin, and AWS components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical decisions and ensure seamless integration
  • Lead code reviews, mentor engineers, and drive important technical decisions across stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of new features and technologies to expand our offerings in new marketplaces and verticals
Requirements
  • Professional experience in software development with a strong background in object-oriented design
  • Experience designing or architecting complex systems, including reliability and scaling
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Java, C++, or C#
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
