About the Role:
We are seeking a talented software developer to lead, design, and drive the new ambitious Rewards program initiatives, HVAs, and internationalization for Amazon Business Prime in Madrid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our UX and PMs to define and implement requirements and the best user experience for our business customers.
- Technical design and implementation of services involved in Rewards core functionality, including front end (React) and back end (Java) components running on AWS.
- Influence other team's tech stacks inside and outside Business Prime org.
- Full E2E ownership of the Rewards Program, including writing high quality, maintainable code and performing peer code-reviews.
- Mentor new talent in a rapidly growing team.
About the Team:
You will be part of a team with a clear Agile (scrum) established methodology, collaborating with cross-functional teams to disambiguate and overcome the challenges on the way.
Requirements:
- Experience in professional, non-internship software development.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems.
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
