About the Role

We are seeking a talented software developer to lead, design, and drive the new ambitious Rewards program initiatives, high-value actions, and internationalization for Amazon Business Prime customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our UX and PMs to define and implement requirements and the best user experience for our business customers.
  • Technical design and implementation of services involved in Rewards core functionality, leveraging existing tools to provide extensive test coverage across our services.
  • Influence other team's tech stacks inside and outside Business Prime org, collaborating with cross-functional teams to disambiguate and overcome challenges.
  • Full E2E ownership of the Rewards Program, including writing high-quality, maintainable code and performing peer code-reviews.
  • Mentor new talent in a rapidly growing team, prioritizing writing high-quality and maintainable code sticking to Agile (Scrum) methodologies.
About the Team

As a relatively new team, we carry little tech debt and prioritize writing high-quality and maintainable code. We build systems that leverage existing tools to provide extensive test coverage across our services.

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience in professional, non-internship software development.
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
  • Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems.
  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
