Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Banquets Supervisor to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of all conference and banqueting events, providing exceptional service, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of all conference and banqueting events, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Provide warm, sincere, and engaging service to our guests, addressing any issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping, kitchen, food and beverage, and front desk, to coordinate services and enhance the guest experience.
  • Maintain high staff morale and team spirit within the department, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform any and all other tasks as assigned by the Banquets Assistant Manager.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in hospitality within food and beverage.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and have a high-level attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and guests, and to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to take ownership of important issues, solve problems, and make effective decisions.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to SLS's unique culture.
