About the Role

Baxter is seeking a highly skilled Senior Counsel Ethics and Compliance to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our business practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance on ethics and compliance matters to internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement effective compliance programs to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into potential ethics and compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth while maintaining a strong commitment to ethics and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure Baxter's compliance.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in law from a recognized institution.
  • 8+ years of experience in private practice, law firm, and/or international company in the area of ethics and compliance.
  • Proven experience in the life-sciences sector, with a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and laws.
  • Expert knowledge of regional legal and regulatory frameworks, including anti-corruption and anti-competition laws.
  • Unquestioned integrity and ethics in business and personal conduct.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence employees at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in English, with competence in other languages an advantage.
