About the Role

Amazon is seeking a high-potential leader to own their impact in Amazon Operations as an entry-level manager. As a front-line leader, you will have the opportunity to invest in others and develop a people-focused leadership style, while mastering the tools, processes, and operations that have created the most customer-centric company on Earth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of 20 to 50 Amazon Associates, motivating, mentoring, and coaching them to achieve high levels of safety, quality, attendance performance, and engagement.
  • Communicate policies to Associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance, consistency, and taking corrective action when needed.
  • Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs to foster a positive work environment.
  • Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates.
  • Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention.
  • Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.
  • Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years Amazon experience.
  • 4+ years of general experience.
  • 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
  • English Intermediate-Advanced (B2+).
  • Spanish Fluent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or similar.
  • Solid experience using Lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Previous experience in Project Management.
  • Solid experience managing department's KPIs and driven results.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation, or related.
  • Logistics Background from Operations environment, preferably from First-Middle Mile Ops.
  • Advanced English Proficiency (C1+).
