OCA Global is an international private equity group with its headquarters in Spain, dedicated to inspection, certification, testing, consulting, and training activities.

The Consulting and Technical Advisory division of OCA Global provides interdisciplinary technical advisory services to support and assist public administrations, banks, and investment funds, project developers, industrial and service companies in their transition towards a more resilient, sustainable, and decarbonized society and economy.

We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer or Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager of the Consulting and Engineering Division of OCA Global. The main responsibilities will be:

Main Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support in all project phases: project development, engineering design/review, construction, and commissioning, as part of the owners' engineer and technical advisory team.
  • Engineering review, including technical revision and approval of the main project design engineering documentation (Owner's Engineering).
  • Technical Due Diligence and Lender Technical Advisor reports, technology evaluation, Operation & Maintenance, etc.
  • Technical support to the business development team.

Work Location: OCA Global offices in Spain in Madrid (preferably), Barcelona, or Sevilla. Main work will be developed office-based but some short travel may be requested, on a project-by-project case, to project sites or clients' offices in Europe and worldwide.

Requirements:

  • MSC in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in similar positions.
  • Experience in EMEA and LATAM regions are a valuable factor.
  • Native or full professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • French and/or Arabic would be favourably considered.
