About the Role:

You will be part of the Sustainable Banking team in Madrid, working with professionals who have advanced expertise in social and environmental finance issues. The team assists all business lines and the Coverage Department in originating and executing sustainable finance transactions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Set quality relationships with Business Lines and clients' Senior Bankers to identify and generate business opportunities.
  • Define tailor-made solutions and pitch the whole Crédit Agricole CIB's sustainable finance product offering.
  • Structure and execute mandates originated, in partnership with the concerned Business Lines.
  • Set close relationships with market stakeholders, such as ESG rating agencies, investors, and other banking actors.
  • Maintain an excellent level of expertise and knowledge on the sustainable finance market.
  • Set efficient and trustworthy working relationships with Crédit Agricole's Business Lines and the Sustainable Banking team.
  • Handle other tasks necessary for the proper processing and development of the Sustainable Banking activity in Iberia.

Key Deliverables:

  • Prepare discussion materials with clients, including commercial presentations, benchmarks, and analysis of projects eligible for Green, Social, or Sustainability Loans/Bonds.
  • Contribute to the execution of advisory or the structuring of sustainable finance mandates, including drafting a Green/Sustainability Financing Framework and monitoring the development of a Second Party Opinion.
  • Participate in the analysis of main developments, including methodologies of ESG Agencies, development of climate scenarios, and evolution of the Green, Social, Sustainability & Sustainability-Linked Bonds market.

Requirements:

  • Be less than 28 years old.
  • Be a graduate of a Master's Degree.
  • Be an EU citizen (except Spanish).
