About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainable Banking Specialist to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our Sustainable Banking team, you will play a crucial role in originating and executing sustainable finance transactions that promote social and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business lines and clients to identify and generate business opportunities
  • Design and pitch sustainable finance solutions to clients, including ESG rating advisory, green and social bonds, and sustainability-linked finance products
  • Structure and execute mandates originated by the team, in partnership with business lines
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments in sustainable finance, ensuring Crédit Agricole CIB remains a leading player in the market
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including ESG rating agencies, investors, and other banking actors, to promote sustainable finance practices
  • Prepare high-quality discussion materials, including commercial presentations, benchmarks, and analysis of extra-financial and climate data
  • Contribute to the execution of advisory or structuring of sustainable finance mandates, including drafting Green/Sustainability Financing Frameworks and monitoring Second Party Opinions
  • Participate in the analysis of market developments, including methodologies of ESG Agencies, climate scenarios, and market trends
Requirements
  • Be under 28 years old
  • Hold a Master's degree
  • Be an EU citizen (except Spanish)
