About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment where you'll prioritize, coordinate, and delegate all care touchpoints for your patients. You'll maintain and advocate a safe environment for everyone, monitor and engage with patients, families, and appropriate care team members concerning significant events or patient condition changes.

As a Critical Care Nurse Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Prioritizing, coordinating, and delegating all care touchpoints for patients
  • Maintaining and advocating a safe environment for everyone
  • Monitoring and engaging with patients, families, and appropriate care team members concerning significant events or patient condition changes
  • Preventing and treating wounds
  • Ensuring continuity of care, efficient throughput, consistent communications, and an exceptional experience for every patient

You'll work closely with our supervisor to ensure that assignments are completed effectively and safely.

What We Offer

We offer competitive salaries, benefits, and opportunities for growth and development. The estimated annual salary for this role is around $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience.

Key Requirements

  • Current nursing license to practice in the state of Louisiana
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • ACLS, CPI, and PALS certifications (new grad must obtain within 6 months of hire)
  • TNCC (CHNOLA and UMC ERs only) or ENPC (can be substitute for PALS at UMC or EJMC ERs)
