Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapy Specialist to join our team at 100 Lcmc Health. As an Occupational Therapy Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing occupational therapy services to our patients, helping them achieve a fulfilled and satisfied state in life through purposeful activity or interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather patient information from appropriate sources, demonstrating effective utilization of staff resources and choosing appropriate forms of evaluation
  • Interpret evaluation findings, setting goals according to findings and patient input
  • Develop and implement a treatment plan that meets the needs of each patient, re-assessing and revising as necessary
  • Teach patients and family members occupational therapy skills and techniques, ensuring accurate documentation of services provided
  • Participate in team conferences, communicating with patients and family members, and collaborating with team members on various initiatives

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as an occupational therapist
  • Graduate of OT program
  • Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Louisiana through the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners (LSBME)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
