Emergency Room Nurse

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Room Nurse to join our team at Touro Hospital. As an ER Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team, and making a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize, coordinate, and delegate all care touchpoints for patients
• Maintain and advocate a safe environment for everyone
• Monitor and engage with patients, families, and care team members concerning significant events or patient condition changes

Requirements:

• Current nursing license to practice in the state of Louisiana
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Current ACLS, CPI, and PALS certifications
• Current TNCC (CHNOLA and UMC ERs only)
• ENPC (can be substituted for PALS at UMC or EJMC ERs)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Emergency Room experience and ER nursing knowledge
