Job Summary

Global Payments, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Research and Resolution Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for researching and resolving customer requests related to cardholder and corporate accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Resolution: Utilize extensive knowledge of banking products and services to research and resolve customer requests, ensuring compliance with client, regulatory, and Association rules and regulations.
  • Account Updates: Assist with routine updates and documentation of cardholder and corporate accounts, including name/address changes and returned mail.
  • Fraud Detection: Recognize potential fraud, credit, collection, and chargeback issues and forward them to the appropriate department for resolution.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience: Typically No Relevant Experience Required

  • Job Skills: Acquires and applies job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete assigned routine tasks.
  • Job Complexity: Works on assignments that are routine to semi-routine in nature, requiring limited decision outside of stated processes.
  • Supervision: Normally receives detailed instructions and follows established procedures on all work.
  • Computer Skills: Knowledge in applicable software, e.g. Lotus Notes, Global Payments Applications, onBase, Microsoft Office, Credit Bureau system, client websites, payment processing systems.
  • Communication Skills: Frequent written and verbal communication with cardholders, clients, and vendors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of government regulations, client policies and Association compliance.
