Lead Bioinformatics Researcher in Leukemia Project

The Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC) is a cutting-edge research center focused on finding innovative solutions for leukemia and other hematologic malignancies. We are seeking an exceptional bioinformatician to join our esteemed team as part of the Transcriptional Dynamics in Leukemia group, led by Dr. Sergi Cuartero.
This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research, analyzing complex datasets generated by the lab, with the ultimate goal of uncovering novel mechanisms of transcriptional regulation in leukemia. Our team includes both experimental and computational researchers, ensuring a rich exchange of ideas and expertise.

About the Role:- Conduct advanced analyses of RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, and Hi-C datasets to shed light on gene expression deregulation in normal blood cells and leukemia.
- Collaborate with senior researchers to design and implement experiments that drive meaningful insights into the biology of leukemia.
- Develop and maintain databases related to the project, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
