About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bioinformatics Researcher to join our Transcriptional Dynamics in Leukemia group at the Institut Josep Carreras (IJC).

This is a 4-year PhD position funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and FSE+, offering a stimulating environment, an exciting research project, and incorporation into a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting research aimed at understanding gene expression deregulation in normal blood cells and leukemia.
  • Designing and exploring complex datasets, analyzing next-generation sequencing data, and integrating epigenomic data with public transcriptomic datasets.
  • Managing databases related to the project.

Your Profile:

  • BSc degree in Biology or a related field.
  • MSc in Bioinformatics.
  • Proficient in writing and speaking English.
  • Eager to learn and aptitude for teamwork.
  • Organized, proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic.
