Salary
We are offering an attractive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, to our successful candidate.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated bioinformatics technician to join our team at the IJC. The ideal candidate should have experience in single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data analysis and interpreting gene expression data at the single-cell level. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects aimed at understanding both the growth and function of vessels in physiological conditions, as well as the critical roles of vasculature in pathological contexts, including vascular anomalies, cancer, and obesity.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform project analyses alongside other team members and contribute to the implementation of pipelines for single-cell data analysis.
- Verify the quality of single-cell data analyses and transfer obtained results to project collaborators.
- Contribute to the development of new methodologies and tools for scRNA-seq data analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A university degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedicine, Bioinformatics, or Biomedical Engineering.
- A Master's degree in computational sciences or related fields.
- At least 1 year of experience in scRNA-seq data analysis or relevant experience in bioinformatics.
- Solid knowledge of molecular biology and programming languages such as R or Python.
