Construction Project Manager, EMEA Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Data Center Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and delivery of our data centers across EMEA.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget compliance.
- Contract Management: Develop and manage contracts with general contractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with Amazon's procurement policies and procedures.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all construction work meets Amazon's quality standards, conducting regular site visits and inspections to identify and address any issues.
- Cost Management: Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of construction professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including Amazon's business leaders, customers, and external partners.
Our Data Center Operations team is responsible for designing, building, and operating Amazon's data centers across the globe. We are a diverse and dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions that meet Amazon's business needs.
Requirements- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on data center construction and operations.
- Skills: Strong project management skills, with experience in contract management, quality control, and cost management. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
