We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our EMEA Construction team at Amazon. Key Responsibilities- Manage construction projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, and close-out.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including safety and environmental regulations.
- Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure team success.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on data center construction.
- Proven track record of delivering complex construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of construction professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of construction laws, regulations, and industry standards, including safety and environmental regulations.
- Master's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications, such as PMP or LEED AP.
- Experience with construction management software, including project management tools and building information modeling (BIM) software.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering principles, including power distribution and cooling systems.
