About the Role

As a seasoned Construction Project Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering Amazon data centers across EMEA. Our team is dedicated to building and supporting the operations of our data centers, ensuring they meet the highest standards of energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee construction-related activities for new builds or general capital projects at a specific data center site, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and high-quality project turn-overs.
  • Directly interface with construction general contractors during the bidding, award, execution, and project closeout phases, driving negotiations and evaluating bids with precision.
  • Collaborate with general contractors and vendors to deliver efficient and high-quality project outcomes, aligning with Amazon's standards for safety, security, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the creation of construction project scope and request for proposals, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience in construction project management, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interface with cross-functional teams, including construction general contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate bids, proposals, and project scope, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Knowledge of construction management principles, including project planning, execution, and closeout, with a focus on safety, security, and customer satisfaction.
