Project Engineer for Renewable Energy Solutions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all stages of project design, including conceptual and advanced system design, observing regulatory codes, technology employed, customer requirements, balance of systems, site visits, permitting, and technical support during construction phase of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
  • Develop an understanding of battery and BESS market trends in technology, capital and operating costs, major suppliers, market applications, and regional developments.
  • Review and develop requirements for solar and battery storage interconnection to utility distribution systems or Industrial applications.
  • Assist in the development of energy production models, project schedules, specifications, bill of materials, scopes of work, standards, and quotes from suppliers.
  • Coordinate with internal and external designers and consultants in creating, delivering and maintaining drawing packages and project documentation.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Energy Systems or other relevant studies in the field of renewable energy.
  • Relevant work experience in the field of energy storage and energy conversion is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of AutoCAD are required.
  • Business fluency in English and Spanish; any other language is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel is an advantage.
