Renewable Energy Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to join our team in Madrid or Sevilla. As a key member of our project execution team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing our renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in all stages of project design, from conceptual to advanced system design, ensuring compliance with regulatory codes and customer requirements.
- Develop an understanding of battery and BESS market trends, including technology, capital and operating costs, major suppliers, market applications, and regional developments.
- Review and develop requirements for solar and battery storage interconnection to utility distribution systems or industrial applications.
- Assist in the development of energy production models, project schedules, specifications, bill of materials, scopes of work, standards, and quotes from suppliers.
- Coordinate with internal and external designers and consultants to create, deliver, and maintain drawing packages and project documentation.
- Collaborate with team members and other operations team members to ensure seamless project execution and process development.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field.
- Relevant work experience in energy storage and energy conversion is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of AutoCAD are required.
- Business fluency in English and Spanish, with any additional language skills a plus.
- Availability for travel with a valid driver's license.
