About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Generalist to join our team at ALS. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR advice and support to our business leaders and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives to drive business outcomes and improve employee engagement.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to employees and people leaders to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage employee relations and industrial instrument interpretation and advice to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Lead end-to-end people and culture activities, including performance management, compliance, and grievance management.
  • Develop and implement talent and succession management strategies to ensure the future readiness of our business.
  • Design and deliver employee experience and engagement initiatives to enhance our workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with local and global teams to deliver HR projects and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and/or Business.
  • Proven advisory level experience in a generalist HR position, ideally supporting geographically dispersed sites.
  • Ability to interpret industrial legislation and instruments, with EA negotiation exposure highly regarded.
  • Experience with the implementation of HR systems, with computer literacy and Microsoft office skills essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to communicate with and influence people at all levels of the business.
  • Well-organised, with an attention to detail, and an ability to manage competing priorities.
