Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of local market dynamics and trends, sharing insights through established channels to identify new business prospects and potential gaps.
  • Familiarize yourself with key local players, brand portfolios, and innovations to pinpoint emerging opportunities.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of dsm-firmenich's value proposition and existing resources, customizing them to enhance client engagement and create business opportunities.
  • Contribute to the execution of the Regional Consumer Brands European strategy by implementing relevant proactive initiatives tailored to the local market.
  • Develop materials for designated European proactive initiatives.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations that address client briefs by aligning them with the appropriate dsm-firmenich value proposition.
  • Monitor local product and fragrance databases to enrich dsm-firmenich tools.
  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities within the Spanish market to facilitate business growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, FDM, Consumer Insights, the Regional Consumer Brands Europe Marketing team, Global Marketing, and the Regional Consumer Brands team in Spain.

What You Bring

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in Marketing within the Fragrance & Flavors industry or related sectors such as Home Care or Personal Care, with significant interaction with fragrance houses.
  • Proven expertise in managing categories, brand clients, and understanding market dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication skills in both Spanish and English, with the ability to distill complex information into actionable insights.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and a proactive approach.
  • Strategic and structured thinking.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a proactive mindset.
  • A collaborative spirit with a quick learning ability to assimilate knowledge internally and with clients.
  • Agility and adaptability to consumer needs.
