Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO expert to join our team at Zurich Insurance. As a key member of our global finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting our SAP FI / CO installations worldwide.

Your Role

As a SAP FICO Subject Matter Expert, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Analyzing business needs and documenting requirements
  2. Proposing solution alternatives and evaluating them
  3. Customizing SAP and unit testing
  4. Providing world-class SAP support
  5. Detecting problems and root causes
  6. Solving incidents and problems
  7. Implementing enhancements
  8. Consulting with customers
  9. Taking responsibility for supporting a SAP client / area
  10. Participating in SAP implementation projects & supporting local / transformation projects

Your Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  1. A higher education in informatics and / or economy
  2. Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English (Additional German is a plus)
  3. At least 5 years' experience in SAP international implementations with leading customizing positions
  4. A proven track record of complete SAP templates rollouts and process harmonization
  5. The ability to find defect resolution for any problem identified
  6. Effective team player in a global company, good communication skills
  7. Experience working in international environments with different cultures
  8. The ability to influence and work effectively with different levels and hierarchies

KNOWLEDGE

  1. Senior experience in SAP FI / CO modules specialized in Finance Accounting and Reporting
  2. NewGL required; Special Ledger would be a plus
  3. IFRS & other GAAPs knowledge
  4. A very good understanding of Financial Closing process in multinational companies (revaluation, allocation, reposting, consolidation)
  5. Good finance & accounting knowledge
  6. Familiarity with insurance and Bank accounting
  7. Procurement to Pay processes
  8. Controlling: Internal Orders, CCA, PCA & PA
  9. A good understanding of ITIL processes (preferably ITIL Certified) such as Change Management, Incident Management

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  1. Excellent SAP FICO (MM & SD good to have; Preferably SAP Financials Certified)
  2. A very good knowledge of MS-Word, EXCEL, Power Point, and MS Project
  3. Any of a Plus: ALE, LSMW, cut over and migrations, SLO conversions, SAP technical upgrades and patching, Winshuttle
