Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Subject Matter Expert to join our team at Zurich Insurance. As a key member of our global SAP implementation team, you will play a critical role in supporting our SAP FI / CO installations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze business requirements and document specifications
  2. Develop and evaluate solution alternatives
  3. Customize and unit test SAP systems
  4. Provide world-class SAP support and maintenance
  5. Identify and resolve technical issues
  6. Implement enhancements and process improvements
  7. Collaborate with customers and stakeholders
  8. Take ownership of SAP client support and maintenance
  9. Participate in SAP implementation projects and local transformation initiatives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Higher education in informatics and/or economy
  2. Excellent written and spoken English (Spanish and German are also highly valued)
  3. At least 5 years' experience in SAP international implementations with leading customizing positions
  4. Proven track record of successful SAP template rollouts and process harmonization
  5. Ability to identify and resolve technical issues
  6. Effective communication and teamwork skills
  7. Experience working in international environments with diverse cultures
  8. Ability to influence and work effectively with different levels and hierarchies
Desirable Skills

We are looking for candidates with:

  1. Senior experience in SAP FI / CO modules, particularly in Finance Accounting and Reporting NewGL
  2. Knowledge of IFRS and other GAAPs
  3. Strong understanding of Financial Closing processes in multinational companies
  4. Good finance and accounting knowledge
  5. Familiarity with insurance and bank accounting
  6. Procurement to Pay processes
  7. Controlling: Internal Orders, CCA, PCA & PA
  8. Good understanding of ITIL processes, such as Change Management and Incident Management
Technical Skills

You will need:

  • Excellent SAP FICO skills (MM & SD skills are a plus)
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Word, EXCEL, Power Point, and MS Project
  • Experience with ALE, LSMW, cut over and migrations, SLO conversions, SAP technical upgrades, and patching (a plus)
