Flight Software Engineer for Onboard Image Processing Systems Development

Deimos Space is seeking a highly skilled Flight Software Engineer to join our team in the development of onboard image processing systems for space vehicles.
Main Responsibilities:- Participate in the entire lifecycle of embedded onboard system development, including implementation on different target hardware platforms of real-time image processing or artificial intelligence solutions.
- Design and implement software and firmware for onboard systems.
- Contribute to software and system validation and qualification.
- Collaborate with other technical areas, such as artificial intelligence and computer vision, to implement specific algorithms onboard.
- Recognized engineering degree in Computer Sciences, Electrical, Electronic, or Telecommunications with demonstrable experience in embedded software and FPGA engineering.
- Postgraduate studies (M.Sc or Ph.D) in software engineering, real-time software, or embedded systems design are appreciated.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the practical application of relevant domains, with industrial experience in the aerospace sector and/or critical software development viewed positively.
- Background in software and FPGA engineering, including testing and verification.
- Knowledge of implementation techniques for image processing or neural networks in target hardware.
