About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Engineer Intern to join our Mobile Connectivity Solutions team at Thales. As a Project Engineer Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the development of our card solutions and working closely with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, clarify, and formalize profile requirements for Thales customers.
  • Use dedicated tools from Thales to implement these requirements and interface with other internal teams in the product development process.
  • Do light, internal project management and follow/check the implementation progress from profile creation to manufacturing.
  • Validate the deliveries made by other internal Thales teams.
A Week in the Life of a Project Engineer Intern

You will:

  • Understand customer card product requirements.
  • Learn about internal project coordination: tools and processes.
  • Acquire knowledge and usage of Thales internal tools.
  • In coordination with the Technical Consultant, define the Customer profile specifications: electrical, graphical, packing, packaging, and the data interface.
  • Provide technical support in the validation phase for a BAP project (validation, end-to-end, etc.).
  • Manage and orchestrate BAP projects for customers (including the follow-up of PDM milestones) in coordination with GGS, CPC, and Manufacturing.
  • Deliver test cards within a committed schedule and quality.
  • Administer BAP process in PDM.
  • Administer Multisourcing & Porting projects implemented by the Multisourcing team.
  • May provide 1st level card support for segment 2 & 3 customers.
  • May provide 1st level support for small businesses.
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Telematics or similar.
  • To have completed all the subjects of the degree/master's degree (except for the TFG/TFM).
  • High level of English & Spanish (oral & written).
  • Skills with development languages preferred.
  • Soft skills:
    • Organized, rigorous and autonomous.
    • Team player and able to network with others.
    • Able to interact with customers.
