About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team at Walters People. As a key member of our global procurement function, you will play a critical role in driving our strategic objectives and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our business objectives.
  2. Drive process standardization and improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Manage tender processes, bid development, and subcontract negotiations to secure best-in-class suppliers.
  4. Develop and maintain a robust supplier portfolio that meets our quality and cost requirements.
  5. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to inform procurement decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as engineering or business.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in industrial procurement, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Excellent analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  4. Fluent English language skills, with additional languages a plus.
