About the Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical System Delivery Lead to oversee critical Master Data Management (MDM) projects and operations within the Data Digital and IT (DDIT) function supporting Novartis' Innovative Medicines business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Development and Delivery: Serve as lead developer and oversee other developers and configurators in building MDM solutions, primarily using Reltio as the MDM engine, Snowflake, and AWS.
  2. Ensure Business Value: Ensure services, solutions, platforms, products are fit for purpose and achieve the desired business value and impact.
  3. Run Efficient Development: Run efficient development for MDM solutions.
  4. Quality and Compliance: Ensure that all deployed code and configuration are of high quality and follow appropriate SDLC processes.
  5. Track and Report: Track, report, and deliver against agreed success factors and KPIs for various stakeholders within your remit.
  6. Industry Trends and Emerging Practices: Follow industry trends and emerging practices to drive agility, speed, efficiency, and effectiveness. Ensure the overall user experience is considered when designing, deploying new solutions and services.
  7. Integration and Alignment: Integrate MDM solutions into our data mesh. Ensure alignment to Security and Compliance policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a computer science, engineering or information technology discipline.
  2. Experience: 8+ years IT experience in a highly qualified function including experience as technology & solution delivery lead within Commercial IT.
  3. MDM Experience: 2+ years of experience working with Master Data Management solutions, preferably with Reltio in the pharmaceutical industry.
  4. Commercial Data Experience: Experience with Commercial data and relationships between data entities is highly desirable.
  5. Project Management: Experience of working effectively with multiple and complex projects in a matrix organization to deliver results with quality and on time within budget.
  6. Relationship Building: Ability to develop trust-based relationships with key regional stakeholders.
  7. Communication: Effective communications style with the ability to influence local and global teams and increase the awareness of the value creation of solutions you are implementing.
