Salary
An estimated salary of 80,000 euros per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead a new research group focused on renewable energy via artificial photosynthesis and biological mimicking systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing a program to strengthen ICIQ's strategic research line on renewable energy
- Supervising PhD Thesis and Postdoctoral researchers
- Collaborating with ICIQ Direction and other staff members
- Reporting to the Scientific Advisory Board
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a strong background in natural photosynthesis and expertise in ultrafast spectroscopic methods.
Preferred skills and qualifications include:
- Design and assembly of advanced spectroscopic instruments
- Conception of home-written scripts for data acquisition, processing, and analysis
- Experience with transient absorption, time-resolved fluorescence measurements, and two-dimensional electronic spectroscopy
