Job Description

We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to lead and manage the development, procurement, and proactive maintenance of IT infrastructure services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the development, procurement, and proactive maintenance of IT infrastructure services.
  • Ensure that services evolve in line with organizational needs and new technologies, and contribute to strategic initiatives as key enablers of the architecture.
  • Ensure the right sizing of the infrastructure, to ensure proper performance and cost optimization.
  • Ensure the infrastructure is secure, aligned with cybersecurity department policies and recommendations.
  • Manage the SDWAN current and future deployments related to the SDWAN network.

Service Desk Management

  • Ensure that appropriate Service Levels and KPI are agreed in the contracts with external service providers.
  • Leverage the ITIL framework best practices to streamline processes and drive optimum efficiency through the service delivery lifecycle.
  • Manage and oversee, using industry best practice, the on-boarding, acceptance, and integration of new services, in line with project timescales, to be supported by the run partner.
  • Ensure that the service desk operations are efficient and effective, and the services delivered are of the highest level of quality.

Team and Area Management

  • Manage the relationship with external service providers.
  • Keep track of the costs and budget of the area.
  • Provide technical support for high-level issues or incidents.
  • Assure that the documentation of the department services is always reviewed, updated, and clearly centralized.
  • Manage a small group of skilled technical specialists.
  • Project management.

Requirements

  • Experienced IT manager with at least 2 years of experience managing infrastructures on a mid-sized or large company.
  • Excellent knowledge on infrastructures, networking, and public cloud technologies.
  • Experienced Service Management professional with a passion for Service Improvement.
  • Experience of managing teams of technicians.
  • Experience of managing 3rd parties and 3rd party delivered services.
  • Service Management or Support in a large-scale and diverse environment of incident management, escalation procedures, and related disciplines.
  • Proven negotiation experience and analysis skills.
  • Fluent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrable knowledge on Microsoft systems: Azure, Active Directory, Windows 10 & server, Intune, etc.
  • Demonstrable knowledge on AWS is a must.
  • Strong working knowledge of ITSM (Jira or similar).
  • AWS, Azure, and-or Microsoft 365 certification is desirable.
  • Experience with Project management.
