Job Title: Senior Corporate Accountant

Location: Hybrid

Job Description:

As a Senior Corporate Accountant at Galderma S.A., you will be responsible for reporting monthly actuals figures and ensuring the financial data accuracy of our corporate entity based in Switzerland. You will establish the statutory accounts of this Holding entity and have the support of the central team in Switzerland & Barcelona.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accounting activities are performed with strong First Time Quality (FTQ) and submit data on time.
  • Prepare and submit Value-Added Tax (VAT) declarations linked to different VAT registrations in the European Union.
  • Act as the main contact for the Travel & Expenses (T&E) tool (Concur) linked to corporate entities in case of questions or issues.
  • Be responsible for International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) reporting.
  • Collaborate on the simplification of financial accounting activities for entities under scope, perform various account reconciliations, compliance checks, and work to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Work with the outsource accounting department and other external/Internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in a similar accounting role.
  • Background in Travel & Expenses tools.
  • Strong background in VAT.

  • Strong collaboration with other stakeholders.

  • Knowledge in IFRS.
