About the Role

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Novartis Farmacéutica, you will play a crucial role in driving the organization's overall test methodologies and approaches within our product squads. You will be responsible for supporting product development, agile, and DevOps best practices, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the standard execution of each test phase, including system, integration, functional, regression, and acceptance testing, within your product scope.
  • Contribute to the refinement and ongoing improvement of the test management strategy for the products and squads in scope.
  • Execute test governance and associated standards within your product squad.
  • Participate in all Agile ceremonies, being accountable for testing assessment, providing estimation support, and ensuring execution on quality and time.
  • Ensure all test-related results are created to quality in line with strategy and approach.
  • Support formal review cycles, including informal review, formal review, testing sign-off, and quality assurance reviews focused on continuous improvement.
  • Utilize test environments, test data, and test-related tooling in accordance with CEP and Novartis standards.
  • Collaborate with other test management experts in the overall test approach and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with peers globally in scaling test teams, processes, and standards.
  • Maintain alignment with CEP management in terms of strategy, process, and tooling.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience in a similar role with a shown track record as a QA Engineer.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated ability working in Agile projects.
  • Track experience in modern project and test management tools, such as Jira and Xray.
  • Business proficiency in English (written and spoken) and Spanish proficiency (spoken).
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to spot minor details in systems and applications.
  • Effective written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and liaise with collaborators.
  • Critical thinking attitude.
  • Adaptability to new technologies, methodologies, and project requirements.
