About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our technology team at Solera. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced applications for the Android platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to enhance application performance, security, and scalability.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in the Android ecosystem, exploring new technologies and frameworks to improve development processes.
  • Work with QA engineers to ensure comprehensive testing and quality assurance.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for application development processes, including code changes and updates.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Android development.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin programming languages and strong understanding of Android SDK.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
  • Proficiency with Android Studio and version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
