About the Role
The Director of Product Management will lead a team of product management professionals in the Integrated Dental Technologies organization. This team is responsible for developing and managing products that empower dental professionals and partners to provide better patient care. The Director will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from idea generation to realization and operation, and will contribute to the company's strategy development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the dental market, including customer needs, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements. They will have exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate will be able to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and will have experience with digitalization in the healthcare context.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of product management professionals in the development and management of products for the dental industry.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from idea generation to realization and operation.
- Contribute to the company's strategy development and drive business planning.
- Align priorities and objectives among stakeholders and represent the product portfolio during product increment planning.
- Realize business outcomes by visualizing progress and resolving impediments.
- Collaborate closely with neighboring departments and external partners to augment the product portfolio.
- Drive relentless improvements by eliminating waste and delay and ensuring appropriate investments in the continuous delivery pipeline.
About the Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in business, marketing, engineering, dentistry, or a related field. They will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the dental or medical device industry. The candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading product management efforts in a complex and highly regulated environment.
