Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at ZimVie US Corp LLC. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our suppliers meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Select and coordinate the supplier lifecycle management, including initial selection and qualification, monitoring, and feedback.
- Manage the supplier production process approvals, including definition of control plans and process/product validations.
- Coordinate and execute the supplier corrective actions report.
- Carry out external audits and participate in internal audits of the quality system.
- Support supplier validation activities for facilities, equipment, processes, and computer systems.
- Provide support in the management of health hazard evaluations and product quarantines.
- Manage production transfer projects and make modifications to documents as needed.
- Develop and implement supplier quality procedures, systems, and metrics to drive standardization and common practices.
- Evaluate the conformity of dental purchased products.
- Manage new product introduction and industrialization projects.
- Participate in operating project plans and improvement projects.
- Manage product and process non-conformities.
- Manage measurement and control equipment out of specifications.
- Select measuring equipment for product inspection.
- Write and execute test method validations.
- Prepare monthly indicators for supplier quality activities.
- Manage incoming inspection sheets and supplier change notifications.
- Hold a university degree in Engineering or a related field. A postgraduate degree in Quality Management is desirable.
- Have at least 2-3 years of experience in a productive and multinational environment.
- Have a high level of English proficiency, both spoken and written.
- Be familiar with office tools, especially Excel, and data analytics (Power BI). Knowledge of ERP systems, especially Oracle, is essential.
- Have knowledge of statistics associated with process control and sampling plans.
- Be familiar with quality systems and international regulations applicable to the business sector.
