Job Title: Contractors Engineer (Project Controls Manager/Planner)

Eosol Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contractors Engineer with a specialization in Project Controls Management and Planning to join our team in Portugal.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to oversee the successful execution of our construction projects. As a Contractors Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring progress, validating construction schedules, and ensuring that deliverables are achieved efficiently and in alignment with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend and actively participate in daily and weekly meetings to assess current project progress, identify potential issues, and facilitate discussions regarding work plans and scheduling.
  • Track and report on the progress of construction activities, ensuring compliance with timelines and quality standards. Document any discrepancies and propose actionable solutions to keep the project on schedule.
  • Review and validate the construction schedules provided by contractors, ensuring they align with the overall project timeline.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports to project stakeholders regarding progress, challenges, and timelines.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to facilitate effective communication between all parties involved in the project.
  • Identify and analyze potential risks associated with project schedules and progress. Develop mitigation strategies to address these risks and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all project control documents are completed accurately and maintained in accordance with company standards and protocols.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by assessing current project control processes and suggesting enhancements that can lead to better efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls, specifically in a construction environment. Proven experience as a planner or contractor engineer in large-scale projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools. Familiarity with construction methodologies and industry standards is essential.
