About the Team

You will be joining a dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about the aviation industry. Our team is responsible for managing airport charges and capacity across the European Region, working closely with airport development and charges experts, airlines, and airport owners/operators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with airport development and charges experts to identify and develop strategies for specific airport charges and infrastructure development.
  • Represent the airline community interest at airport charges consultation, regulatory developments, and industrial litigation procedures.
  • Provide expert support to airlines and engage constructively with airport owners/operators and authorities to ensure airport capital expenditure is demand driven, cost-effective, prioritized, and addresses airline needs.
  • Work with airports and governments in the Region towards endorsement of crucial industry positions, such as the Airport Charges Directive, Single Till, privatization, concessions, etc.
  • Conduct fact-finding missions with and on behalf of IATA Subject Matter Experts to determine underlying rationale, scale, and cost of proposed airport development/capacity enhancement programs in the Region.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the aviation industry, airport charges, and capacity management. You will also need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
