About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Airport Charges and Capacity Manager to join our team at Iata Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing airport charges campaigns across the European Region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with airport development and charges experts to identify and develop strategies for specific airport charges and infrastructure development.
  • Represent the airline community interest at airport charges consultation, regulatory developments, and industrial litigation procedures.
  • Provide expert support to airlines and engage constructively with airport owners/operators and authorities to ensure airport capital expenditure is demand driven, cost-effective, prioritized, and addresses airline needs.
  • Work with airports and governments in the region towards endorsement of crucial industry positions, such as airport charges directives, single till, privatization, concessions, etc.
  • Conduct fact-finding missions with and on behalf of IATA subject matter experts to determine underlying rationale, scale, and cost of proposed airport development/capacity enhancement programs in the region.

Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering or Economics; suitable experience may be considered in lieu of professional qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with airport/ANSP charges.
  • High motivation with proven team work ability.
  • A self-starter approach with ability to proactively engage with stakeholders and progress work goals.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in making clear presentations and preparing reports based on technical merits and facts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and are fluent in both written and spoken English; other languages (German, or French) would be an asset.
