At Medtronic, we're committed to innovation and improving healthcare access and equity for all. As a Technical Consultant for Cardiac Rhythm Management, you'll play a key role in breaking down barriers to innovation and making a meaningful impact in the lives of patients.
A Day in the LifeOur Cardiac Rhythm Management team is at the forefront of designing, producing, and servicing implants and technologies for cardiac rhythm disorders and heart failure. As a Technical Consultant, you'll provide expert technical support in hospitals' operating rooms and work with a network of accounts to expand the utilization of device therapies, diagnostics, and monitoring for Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure disease management.
Responsibilities- Provide technical support to physicians in the operating room during Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator implants and Electrophysiology procedures.
- Advise referring physicians on company products, therapies, and services to optimize patient outcomes.
- Build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers.
- Educate referring physicians on clinical evidence of defined therapies to demonstrate improved patient outcomes.
- Carry out all administrative duties and reports.
- University degree in Health sciences (biomedical engineering, electrical, IT, natural sciences, or other relevant degree).
- At least 2 years of experience minimum is required but it's not a limitation.
- Willingness to work with physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians.
- Willingness to provide expert technical support in the operating room.
- Fluent English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
- Computer literacy.
- Communication skills and motivation to build strong business relationships with customers.
- Clean driving license; willingness to travel intensively.
- Teamwork, proactivity, and focus on delivering results.
