About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Sungrow - EMEA. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical assistance to our customers in the field of solar energy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface with customers to resolve technical issues related to our PV inverter solutions.
  • Take ownership of dispatched customer issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Provide on-site technical support and customer service during field visits or dispatches.
  • Run diagnostics on errors or technical problems, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Deliver technical support and contribute to service solutions for our customers.
  • Perform on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks, including upgrades and rework activities.
  • Support project management during commissioning and site acceptance services.
  • Track actions performed on site during delivery of projects.
  • Ensure adherence to operational procedures, processes, and practices as defined and documented.
  • Follow applicable health and safety instructions and regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation, work instructions, and processes for existing and coming service contracts and agreements.
Requirements
  • Education as Electrical Technician or Engineer.
  • Spanish and English language skills at least at B2 level.
  • Willingness to work on-call duty.
  • Experience with battery storage solutions is beneficial.
  • Experience dealing with customers in critical situations.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Driving license is essential for the job.
  • H&S training to access construction sites with electrical-specific training.
  • Located preferably in Madrid, Albacete, or Cuenca.
