Overview

We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Sales Operations Specialist to become a vital part of our Supply Chain team. In this role, the Sales Operations Specialist will be tasked with facilitating communication and collaboration among various internal stakeholders, including the Sales Team, Finance, Operations, IT, and our valued customers, which include leading retailers in the region.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations concerning customer fulfillment and sales order processing. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries related to product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules. Act as a liaison between Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain departments, effectively managing customer requests and expectations. Collaborate with third-party logistics coordinators to manage outbound orders and logistics requirements. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality. Maintain control and reporting mechanisms for internal audits.

Required Background

A minimum of two to three years of experience, preferably with a strong background in working with Spanish/Iberian retailers in the FMCG sector. Familiarity with EDI systems for integrating messages such as orders, invoices, and credit notes into our ERP. Understanding of service metrics relevant to logistics, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), Fill Rate (FR), and Service Fulfillment metrics. Knowledge of SOX controls related to Sales Operations, including pricing and sales order management.

Educational Qualifications

Degree in Business Administration or a related field. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in using ERP systems. Fluency in Spanish and Business English is required.

This position reports to the Operations Manager.
