About the Role

Quintas Energy is a leading professional team and asset management platform in European solar renewables. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Legal Department within the Spain Asset Management team.

As a Senior Associate, you will operate in a data-rich environment supported by a strong, experienced field team and a backoffice resource. Your main responsibility will be to support the legal team in the Land&Property Relationship Management services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain relationships with landowners, community groups, and local authorities.
  • Contract Management: Onboard lease and easement contracts, monitor contractual events, and ensure relevant parties are informed.
  • Compliance: Ensure that Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) comply with their obligations under lease contracts.
  • Notary and Public Office Management: Deal with Notaries, Property Registers, and other relevant counterparty or public office.
  • Conflict Resolution: Support clients in resolving conflicts with landowners.
  • Financial Management: Manage the payment of rent and other financial obligations under contracts.
  • Health and Safety: Promote a Health and Safety culture within Quintas Energy and identify and escalate Health and Safety risks in the portfolio.
Requirements
  • Law Degree
  • At least two years of experience in:
    • Community, local authority, and landowner engagement
    • Managing land lease, dealing with Notaries, Property Registers, and Cadastral Office
    • Working with Notaries, drafting public deeds
    • Payment process (cost control, invoicing, and payment)
    • Agricultural aid schemes (e.g., PAC)
    • Solar PV construction and/or management
  • Confident communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Attention to detail and conscientiousness
  • Ability to adapt and flex to a changing environment
  • Analytical, communication, and computer skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to take responsibility
