About the Role

Quintas Energy is a leading professional team and asset management platform in European solar renewables. We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Legal Department within the Spain Asset Management team.

The successful candidate will support the legal team in establishing and maintaining relationships with landowners, community groups, and local authorities. They will also be responsible for managing lease contracts, monitoring contractual events, and ensuring compliance with obligations under lease contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder management: main point of contact for landowners, establishing and maintaining relationships with landowners, community groups, and local authorities.
  • Onboarding of lease and easement contracts.
  • Monitoring contractual events and ensuring relevant parties are informed.
  • Ensuring compliance with obligations under lease contracts.
  • Dealing with Notaries, Property Register, and other relevant counterparty or public office.
  • Managing the notarization of contracts and easements.
  • Supporting clients in resolving conflicts with landowners.
  • Managing payment of rent and other financial obligations under contracts.
  • Promoting a H&S culture within QE and identifying and escalating H&S risks in the portfolio.
Requirements
  • Law degree.
  • At least two years of experience in community, local authority, and landowner engagement.
  • Experience in managing land lease, dealing with Notaries, Property Registers, and Cadastral Office.
  • Experience working with notaries, drafting public deeds.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and in a client-facing role.
  • Experience in payment process (cost control, invoicing, and payment).
  • Experience in agricultural aid schemes (e.g., PAC).
  • Experience with Solar PV construction and/or management.
  • Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Attention to detail, conscientiousness.
  • Ability to adapt and flex to a changing environment.
  • Analytical, communication, and computer skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to solve problems, take responsibility, and start adding value to the team immediately.
