As a Business Operations Analyst at Envista, you will play a critical role in preparing monthly close and forecast reports, statistics, and analysis. Your expertise will be utilized to create and analyze monthly reports, providing high-quality commentary and analysis on bookings, sales, backlog, price data, margin analysis, and working capital.
You will be responsible for performing detailed financial analysis, including advanced financial modeling, profitability analysis, sales/margin analytics, return on investment/discounted cash flow analysis, and monitoring business issues and their impact on the bottom line.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively communicating results and recommendations for action
- Supporting the Selling & Marketing team in designing, implementing, and evaluating campaigns
- Supporting sales compensation target setting and monthly evaluation of performance
- Developing trend analysis to determine the effectiveness of Sales compensation programs and collaborating with key business partners (Finance, Sales, HR) to improve Sales compensations program effectiveness
- Responsible for the accounting of all Sales Compensation Programs (Commission, Bonus, and other Sales Incentive Plans)
- Assisting Regional Controller in the development of the budget, planning, and other corporate financial requirements
- Responsible for the identification and referral of accounts for write-off in accordance with policy
- Undertaking account reconciliations as required
- Managing a portfolio of Key customers to optimize accounts receivable and DSO
- Providing cover for other accounting functions as requested
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and 5+ years of progressive experience in a selling unit analyst role
- Fluent in Italian and English; Spanish is an advantage
- Impeccable ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality
- Broad knowledge and understanding of credit approval fundamentals, policies, regulations, and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong project management skills and an entrepreneurial, self-motivated attitude
- Ability to function independently and effectively in a self-directed environment
- Strong Excel, SAP FI/CO, BI, and Hyperion/HFM skills
- Strong technical knowledge (Accounting, Controlling, and US GAAP)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels and cross-culturally
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills demonstrating the ability to take on new projects and responsibilities with minimal guidance and to understand key drivers/trends of the business
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
