Global Senior Accountant and Process Owner

Vitrolife Group is a leading company in the field of science and technology, working to unlock the full potential of these fields to reduce the barriers towards building a family.

We are a team of professionals who help our customers and their patients to fulfill their dream of having a baby.

We are expanding our Finance organization and are now looking for a Global Senior Accountant and process owner of the record-to-report process.

This is an exciting role where you will be responsible for developing, structuring, harmonizing, and streamlining the accounting across the group.

You will provide accounting operating instructions and procedures to legal entities, develop our record-to-report process to be more automated, and provide senior accounting advice in complex accounting questions following business initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Issue and provide accounting operating instructions, guidance, and training to legal entities and finance clusters.
  • Drive harmonization and automation of legal entities' monthly intercompany, accounting, and reporting processes.
  • Provide senior accounting advice in complex accounting questions.
  • Coordinate and manage accounting dimensions and master data.
  • Be a key contact in accounting-related topics globally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related area.
  • Several years of experience in Accounting in an international group or from auditing.
  • A senior and hands-on approach.
  • Fluent in English, verbally and in writing; Spanish is meritorious.
  • Strong communication skills.

About the role

You will be reporting to the Head of Global Finance Operations and you will be located in Valencia, Spain. Only applications in English will be part of the selection process.
