Financial Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Manager - Statutory and Taxes to join our finance team. This critical role will be responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and overseeing financials and consolidation for all entities within the group.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of 7 accounting professionals located in the Granada office, ensuring frequent travel.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and expertise to the accounting team, assisting them in addressing any accounting-related queries.
- Oversee their work, ensuring accuracy and excellence in financial reporting, consolidation, and other relevant tasks.
- Approve vacation requests and manage day-to-day interactions with the accounting team.
- Act as a point of contact for human resources matters, resolving any issues and ensuring the well-being of the team.
- Act as the primary interface between the accounting team and the Group CFO, supporting the Group CFO in various projects and initiatives.
- Oversee a range of critical financial activities, including taxes, transfer pricing, statutory requirements, group consolidation, and access controls.
- Monitor and ensure timely and accurate tax filings for all group entities in compliance with local and international tax regulations.
- Collaborate with tax consultants to implement best practices and maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax changes.
- Develop and implement transfer pricing policies to ensure transactions between group entities adhere to arm's length principles.
- Regularly review and update transfer pricing documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the preparation and submission of annual accounts, financial statements, and other statutory reports for all group entities.
- Monitor compliance with local regulations for board meetings and related statutory activities.
- Oversee the consolidation of financial data from all group entities to prepare accurate and timely consolidated financial statements.
- Review intercompany transactions, eliminating inconsistencies and discrepancies.
- Manage the process of preparing and finalizing the group's annual financial statements.
- Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit, ensuring a smooth and successful completion.
- Conduct regular impairment tests for group assets and investments, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and promptly reporting impairments.
- Implement and maintain access controls for key financial systems, bank accounts, and other sensitive financial data across the group.
