Job Title: Wording Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Wording Operations Specialist to join our International Programs Service Centre team based in Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our Underwriting Operations team, you will work closely with the Global Property Technical Underwriting Team and the Receiving and Producing Zurich Countries and Transformation Team within the Commercial Insurance division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain the global wording/endorsement library for Property Prime Product
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of template/clauses from which the policy document can be drafted
  • Plan and facilitate new wording roll-outs as well as upgrades of existing products in collaboration with the project team and technical underwriting
  • Manage and communicate process changes to stakeholders in the network and collect feedback about product and process improvements
  • Organize and provide support with trainings as needed
Digitalization and Performance:
  • Work closely with the wording digitalization project team
  • Reflect any product/process changes in the required internal systems/tools (wording digitalization, MIA, NEO, IPS, etc.)
  • Participate and assist with UAT
  • Analyze current country and network partner capabilities including portfolio landscape
  • Run and analyze various reports as needed
Requirements:
  • Insurance or legal background (preferable but not essential)
  • Previous experience working in a multinational environment (an asset)
  • Education diploma in Business Administration, International Business, Law, or equivalent
  • Well-organized with strong attention to details
  • Effective communicator – both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving skills and confidence in working closely with colleagues from across many countries and various areas of the business
  • Fluent in English (other languages an advantage)
