**Job Overview**

The Sales Application Specialist (SAS) Transfusion Representative plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and technical expertise, blending sales and technical responsibilities. Key objectives include actively promoting and selling products while ensuring seamless technical support.

**Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities**

• Achieve established sales targets by developing strong relationships with customers.
• Provide exceptional application support to foster customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to laboratory organization improvement through technical advice and solution offerings.
• Encourage cross-selling by providing product information and introducing cost/efficiency balanced techniques.
• Present products and concepts effectively to institutions, end-user groups, clinicians, and expert groups.
• Develop a network of trust within the organization and coordinate field visits.
• Coordinate instrument installations, interacting with various departments (Logistics, Technical Service, Marketing), and perform product demonstrations.
• Maintain user training levels for instruments and reagents, managing appropriate documentation.
• Collaborate with the KAM and Business Unit to manage opportunities and risks.
• Ensure a global perspective, checking service levels offered by different Company departments to reduce complaint risk.
• Provide troubleshooting for technical enquiries and resolve product incidents at a technical level, coordinating with HelpLine, Technical Service, and Product Managers.
• Manage tenders, including specification and profitability analysis, preparation of necessary documentation, and litigation support.
• Offer first-level technical support to customer accounts regarding products, applications, and operations, assisting with system integration into laboratories.
• Ensure compliance with Ethical Code and maintain key relationships with stakeholders.

**Qualifications & Requirements**

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or related discipline;
• PhD valuable;
• Experience in sales and/or marketing within the IVD sector;
• Experience in Immunohematology / Blood Bank;
• Comprehensive knowledge in life sciences: Hematology.

**Estimated Salary:** $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
